  • Birth is inherently a normal process.

  • Birth can be transforming and joyful.

  • Birth is a sacred and intimate process to be honored.

  • A mother and baby are a unique pair and deserve individual, personalized care free from routine interventions.

  • Every woman has the right and responsibility to choose the birth location,  participate fully in her care and choose the care provider that best suits her philosophy and needs.

  • Birthing women can be confident and equipped for their own journey from pregnancy into motherhood.

Desirre is a dual-certified Childbirth Educator (CAPPA and Lamaze International), Certified Labor Doula, Certified Lactation Educator, CAPPA Faculty Member, and the President of the International Cesarean Awareness Network.
Her classes are structured around a normal birth philosophy and current evidence-based practices.
